\nFor applications requiring fast, efficient cooling, L&R has developed our plate freezer. It utilises the principle of contact cooling and can, for example, cool blood plasma bags down to the required core temperature within a specified period of time.<\/p>\n

The items to be cooled are placed in a cold chamber on contact plates through which the cooling medium flows. When the chamber is full, the plates are moved together in a controlled manner to achieve the largest possible contact area, and thus, an intensive cold transfer. This highly effective cooling concept is also impressive in terms of its very good energy efficiency.<\/p>\n
